Account Manager, The Media Practice
About you:
You have experience managing accounts. You are a client advocate and have experience interacting with all the moving parts in an organization that support client success. At your current job, client success is your top priority. You understand the hunter/farmer model in an organization and you want to be the farmer, because you are excellent at cultivating, growing and nurturing accounts.
YOUR next job’s duties / responsibilities:
- Manage account activity, including coordination and set-up of new accounts advertising campaigns based on specified criteria.
- Work with internal systems and departments to respond to the requests of customers including campaign setup, click stats reporting, bidding analysis, campaign optimization, billing inquiries, etc.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with clients including personal attention and custom optimization.
- Provide exemplary client service at every level, internally and externally.
- Generate client reports as needed.
- Make inbound and outbound sales calls to small to medium size clients looking for display advertising.
- Furnish reports and projects on demand from various departments, record detailed and accurate notes on client interaction and added revenue.
- Seek innovative solutions to problems and processes to ensure client success.
- Prepare reports on client status on a regular weekly basis.
- Support the vision and values of the company and the team through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors.
- Assist in various team initiatives and projects as requested.
YOUR experience / qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience in a customer-centric role.
- 3+ years experience managing high-profile client accounts.
- Ability to manage high-profile accounts and make strategic decisions independently with limited supervision.
- Work history that includes business development and/or professional account management for Media Practice accounts preferred.
- Excellent and proven verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Strong relationship management skills and a positive can-do attitude.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience successfully working as a team across multiple departments within an organization as well as independently.
- Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated initiative.
- Experience using a windows-based PC including superior knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Sales Manager, East
AdXpose® seeks a talented and passionate Sales Director/Manager for the East territory to join our sales team. Primary responsibility is to establish and maintain relationships with new and existing agencies, advertisers, and online advertising platforms. We are looking for a unique sales professional – someone who has both experience evangelizing products and has the ability to carry the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
A background in selling or servicing online ad server or platform technologies, ad networks, or exchanges is a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Present Company’s solutions to key decision makers within agencies, platforms, networks, brands in order to increase the number of new clients and monthly impression volume
- Report to and update management regularly on activity status and next steps related to specific opportunities
- Collaborate with Technical and Account Management staff to ensure appropriate training and smooth transition from pre- to post- sales
- Cold Call to develop new client leads within key categories
- Attend industry events and follow-up with leads generated in a timely fashion
- Expand industry knowledge and gain visibility through industry events and training
Requirements
- Bachelors, or Masters degree
- 3+ years experience in internet media/technology sales
- Must have proven, extensive contacts at top interactive agencies/brand advertisers
- Proven sales/business development success
- Consultative selling style and experience
- Experience selling to or servicing agencies
- Superior knowledge of online ad “math” and metrics
- Strong knowledge of online marketing techniques and technologies
- Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Able to sell to decision makers across multiple disciplines. including media, operations, analytics
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid operating environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
